now property preservation now pre Now Property are scammers... they don't pay! farmington hills, Michigan

Our company started sub contracting work from now property preservation in aug of 2009. We met Sam Sesi(owner) and one of his assistants Pat at a home in waterford so they could gage our knowledge in the property preservation field.  It didn't take long to see that they were new to this and they were soon asking us questions on how to do things.  They hired us immediately and said we would be recieving work from  safeguard properties. The next day we met with the office girl Dana(who's a total scammer and liar) and we signed a contract that gave us 50% of all work we completed with now property buying the supplies. Everything was great for the first few weeks as we had a very steady work load (avg 5 per day) of work orders. 

 Now going into this we knew and understood that pay was 45 days out because thats just how safeguard pays. Around day 60 and about 200 orders later still no paycheck and now property kept claiming they hadnt been paid yet. Now keep in mind that the work load increased as at this time we were their only contractors.  We would complete the work the same day we had recieved it and I would email paperwork and pictures over to dana every night (which I still have every picture, email and work order ever sent) and never once was a single work order late or did we ever recieve an email or phone call saying there was a problem with the work.  We soon starting persuing sam the owner more frequently and he was very hard to get a hold of. They finally paid us $1,500 with a cashiers check around day 70 and $2,000 more in the next month in which we had to hound him for.  They than set up a meeting around day 70 at starbucks and said how great we were doing and they wanted us to have a bigger role in the company. We signed a contract that i still have now paying us 75% of all work completed and we would now buy the supplies. We agreed and worked for them for about another month.  We finally called it quits after about 100 days had gone buy and now property owed us around $9,000.  We tryed to call them and no one would answer or return our emails. We would go to there office and the door was locked when they were clearly inside.

During this entire process we formed a good relashionship with Pat who was Sams main assistant/bodyguard(ex cop).  Pat did his best to keep us informed on as much as he could and he claimed to have no access to the financials of the company as he mainly handled the work out in the field( hiring, quality control). Pat informed us that during this time they had hired several other contractors and that now property owed them money as well.  Pat said that Sam had also not paid him either and owed him a few thousand dollars, but much like us Pat needed a job and believed the money would come.

When it came time to do our taxes we awaited now pres 1099 which never caim.  We finally recieved it in march and it was for $5,500 which was $2,000 more than they paid us. So over a year later still no word from sam or dana. They still dont return any calls or emails.

I still speak with pat and he says he hasnt worked there in months as sam owes him thousands of dollars as well.  I dont really trust anyone from that office, but I believe pat is good person who did his best to keep the contractors happy and in the meantime he was getting screwed to.  He has given me telephone numbers of former contractors and even current employees that work in the office. I know they started up in another state and that they owed contractors money there to. 

I should have known when sam said he was always in court and that they had filed several police reports, because former contractors were coming after them. I know theres more people out there and I want this guy to go down.  I wont give up until he's out of business or we've been paid in full.  I have all the proof and documention to prove everything(pictures, emails, work orders, bank records). 

 I talked with a lawyer and he wanted almost as much as we were owed to take the case and I believe its to large of an amount for small claims.  These guys are scammers and take advantage of good hardworking people and it needs to stop.  Please contact me if he's scammed you to.
