My Name is ..... Hardy and I own a 1996 Nissan 200SX. About a year ago my car broke down at work which I found out later that the problem was the starter. So I called several towing services and found Nu-way towing, which would tow my car to their shop and also will replace the problem starter the same day. The owner said that he would replace my old starter, parts and labor for about
$170.00. I agreed and Nu-way came and got the car. The car was picked up about 9:00 in the morning and they didn't fiinsh until around 5:30 that afternoon.
When I got to the shop to settle the bill, the owner wanted to charge me almost $300.00. I got really upset and said that the agreed price was $170.00. He came up with some other lame excuse about extra parts or
something and I ended up paying $274.00 for the starter.
A year later, May 17, 2002, the same thing happen to my car with the starter. I came to the conclusion that the starter Nu-way installed should have lasted longer. By this time, I have found two(2) honest mechanics which I now take my car to.
I had my car towed to my mechanic on 54th and 12th Avenue in Miami and he confirmed that indeed the starter needs replacing. My mechanic also found that the starter was a used starter, not a new one which a year ago Nu-way should have installed.
When I took the starter that my mechanic took off to the auto parts store for a new one, the auto parts store also confirmed that the starter was used by the engraving on the starter, a technique that used by parts dealers. I was so upset, I wanted to go back to Nu-way towing and give them a piece of my mind. My mechanic advised me against it. I did get a new starter and my mechanic installed it.
Nu-way towing @ 551 NW 71st street in Miami, you suck. You "Ripped me Off". To anyone and all customers out there, stay away for Nu-way towing service, they will "Rip you off" too

I worked for nu way for about a year and i can tell you first hand that the place is a scam mr david
miller was arrested for junking cars before the allowed time of disposal he has a contract with the city of miami police dept that his father had many years ago how david still has it is beyond me none of his wreckers work and are falling apart his mechanic shop is a mess he has only one certifeid mechanic who doesnt work their any more the body shop is a total shame god forbid you should take your car their it will sit for weeks and the shady work they do will come back to huant you he has a high number of supplements on all of the jobs that he cons people in leaving their car their for body work supplements are when the shop asks the insurance company for more money because it was not inspected properly

The bill was for $221.64 not $274.00, which included a $35.00 tow bill leaving a balance for repairs of $174.42 plus tax. The starter was
a rebuilt starter, which carries a one (1) year warranty. If customer had any problems, he should have informed us immediately.
