NUMA Modelling Rip Off Calgary Alberta Canada

I was told by a lot of people that my 4 month old could be a model.  He also has a very outgoing personality for it.  I'm not a show mom, never wanted to be, but thought if he got a few jobs here and there, we could start saving money for university for him.

I emailed NUMA, not knowing the industry and what it was required.  The receptionist and agent took me in saying how wonderful he was and that they rarely had little boy babies, so he would get some jobs, no problem.  They even told me one commercial just called a few days ago looking for a baby his age and they didn't have any on their list.

We set up a photo shoot for a week later and I gave them approximately $300 for the shoot and services.  Signed a contract, with the promise that they would contact me soon.

8 months later, I received an email stating that they had received my email on being interested in joining their company, and did I want to set up an appointment to meet them.  I emailed back saying that I already met with them 8 months ago, paid them for a photo shoot and services, and never heard from them again.  I also ask them that if they would like to speak to me about this matter I would have no problem coming in or calling them.  No response to that email, and I have never heard from them again.  This was a year and 3 months ago.

All I can do is hurt their reputation by word of mouth.  People still say, "You should get your son into modelling."  And I tell them about NUMA, how they ripped me off and how I am now not trusting towards that industry.
