Use this dot com only as a reference on nursing, and only if you can't find the answers somewhere else.

If you become a member, it's management more or less expects you to help promote the site. It's latest manager--I believe the third manager in about three years--is downright pushy. If you object to the annoying prompts--say by submitting critical email to management--woe to you: you're liable to find yourself expelled within 24 hours, unable to log in.

Overnight, your contact with some friends may be severed. If you've contributed to the site, those contributions may be eradicated, overnight.

The site has the potential to become one of the best of it's kind, but currently, I'd rate it among the worst of its kind. It can't seem to hold onto its members--thousands upon thousands stop visiting; perhaps many of them have abandoned the site. Nursinglink.com certainly cannot hold on to its most accomplished members: these are people who have an enormous amount of knowledge and experience in nursing; often they have a master's degree in a field of nursing, and they have distinguished themselves in other walks of life, too.

I wonder how Nursinglink's advertisers would respond if they knew about its membership woes. I also wonder if Nursinglink.com been deceiving its advertisers about its active membership.

Over the years, I've often wondered how Nursinglink.com has managed to survive. Now, I believe it won't. Be very careful about committing your time and energy to this site, and be prepared to be servile to it if you do become a member.
