NuU Med Spa Has $9000 of my money for services never rendered!!! Chicago, Illinois

  I went to NuU medspa bcuz I saw their ad in the Redeye newspaper here in Chicago and boy did I make a mistake! I should have done my homework. Here is my story.

I went into their Lincoln park office and met with Dana who seemed pretty nice but to be honest was very demanding about paying upfront,right away to secure my appt. date. That should've sent me running! I spent $5000 of my own money and put another $4000 on a credit card so I could get my appt. with the surgeon. I was going to have some lipo done. I was never given any paperwork and to this day still dont have any paperwork from this place.

The day of my scheduled procedure I was sent to the Oak Brook office and met with a Dr. ( pronounced Su-ber-mo-ne). He was very nice and said to be honest, he was used to women coming  in his office with huge stomachs or hips out to here (holds hands a several inches from hips). After we spoke he said go home and think about it and continue with diet and exercise and in a month if you want come back if youre not satisfied. I am 6'0'' and 190lbs. I was just looking for that more tone look but he said he didnt think it was necessary.

After leaving his office I called the Lincoln park office and informed Dana what the doctor told me and her response was "What, was he drunk when he told you that?" i was in shock when she said that. Obviously after all this who in their right mind would even consider having anything to do with this place let alone surgery!

Well I want my money back! I have been in contact with Sean from their CS dept. and he has told me over 6 months ago that I would be getting a full refund. They just seem to be dragging their feet. I have contacted the Attorney General's office and i just got a call back from a John B. who works there and he says one of their attorneys will be getting to me at the end of the week. I'm in Illinois and dont know if anyone else has had any thing similiar happen but if so I hope this may help.
