NVP warranty Cancelled a customers contract AFTER he submitted a claim, which was denied because of a simple clerical error on the signed contract. independance ohio

A brite and cheery saleswoman came to my shop to drum up business for her employer NVP WARRANTY CO. I was aprehensive at the prospect of selling aftermarket warranties to my loyal customers due these kind of companies having very bad reputations..in general. 

I joined their team and sold a few warranties. One very good customer broke down and had his car towed to a NVP recommended shop. They told him he needs a new engine. He proceded with a claim to NVP. They rejected and cancelled his contract not based on the paid for warrantied item but on the fact that there was a clerical mistake on his application from a month ago. 

They will take your money ALL DAY LONG. god help you if you didn't dot an i or cross a T on the written contract. They are in the contract enforcement business, not the warranty business. They could care less about  their  reputation. I ended up taking care of my loyal customer. Thats what good honest business people do.
