NY Breeder Gary the owner + Robin the sales girl + the female manager with missing teeth and the girl with black hair are all part of this SCAM CLAIMING PUPPY MILL DOGS ARE FROM EXPENSIVE BREEDERS THAT DO NOT EXIST AFTER EXTENSIVE RESEARCH!!!! White Plains New York

This place is a SCAM and they need to be shut down ASAP! We purchased a 4 month cockapoo from this store only because we were promised these dogs came from high end breeders and were not from PUPPY MILLS! We are 100% against puppy mills but were given fake paper work to prove she came from a reputable breeder. I now know that the paperwork is fake because after an incident at the vet yesterday I decided to look into this....

First off these girls are all working on commission and will LIE and LIE to get you to buy a puppy, they could care less who is buying the dog! As long as you can write a check you can take the dog home the same day!

 We had no intentions of purchasing a puppy that day, but this cockapoo loved us so much we couldn’t leave her stranded there in a cage to live so after seeing proper breeding papers we agreed to purchase her after negotiating the cost down to $2500!

First we were conned into purchasing $600 worth of products that we "needed" for this special type of dog, as Robin stated she was very intelligent and needed more things to keep her mind happy. We didn’t need any of the stuff we bought, and realized it when we got home and started using the products. We were told to purchase Signature dog food because Robin stated we needed to switch her off puppy food asap that she needed the nutrients that were in Signature due to the lamb and other high end proteins that puppies needed that are not found in traditional puppy foods. This was a LIE - she could not even chew the food! We even tried soaking it in water overnight and it was still to hard so we had to go back out and buy real puppy food from Pet Smart. (Bill Jacks)

Also at first I had grabbed blue buffalo puupy food, because  I feed my cats. Blue Buffalo. They took the bag away from me and said I couldn’t purchase Blue Buffalo that there was a recall on blue buffalo food and that it is very cheap and they only use chicken fat and not real chicken breast in their food, so now I felt awful and had to buy new cat food as well. ( They recommended RAWZ)

I called Blue Buffalo’s corporate headquarters later that day to get more info to make sure my cats were OK and they said that the store lied to me and that there was NO recall! Blue Buffalo even called the store to ask why they were lying and saying there was a recall, and if there was a recall why did they have the food on their shelves and then take it away from customers when trying to check out at the register? Hmmm

Next we were told she needed a $100 playpen so she could play with her training bones - as this was part of the training process, Robin stated. Emma, our cockapoo, jumped out right away - this was useless and they would not let us return any items even thought they were brand new! Robin promised that if we didn’t use any items we could return them but now they are saying that they do not process refunds or exchanges!

Last night we took Emma to the vet. We signed a contract stating that we would take her to Dakota vet in white plains for her last round of shots. This appointment was free and part of Emma's cost. All we had to do was bring our paper work from NY Breeders to the vet with a stool sample. The stool sample testing would cost $70 but that is all we would have to pay. After Emma received her shots we went to check out with the receptionist and we were charged $500 for the apt. We explained that we purchased her from NY Breeders and only had to pay the $70 for the stool sample and they told us this is a LIE that NY Breeder tells their customers to make the purchase and that they are so sorry for any miss represented information. The only part that was free was the $75 apt fee but the shots we had to pay for. What if we didn’t have the money? Then what?! The receptionist suggested that we called NY Breeder to get our money back, which is why I am writing this report now.

Every time I call for a manager I'm told she just "stepped out" Ya I'm sure she did probably to go smoke another cigarette as the workers are always outside the business smoking and They leave the froNt door open so the smoke travels inside and into the poor puppies lungs L I never saw one wash their hands when they came back in. Another reason why I could not leave Emma there another day, this place was not fit for this sweet, precious baby.

I tried explaining what happened to the girl with black hair, as I recognized her voice on the phone, she tried telling me that there is no Robin who works there! I even explained what she looked like, and still she kept saying I was lying. She also said that they would never say that the shots were included that she was now my dog and my responsibility not theirs! She also said when I brought up the food and crate as other issues why I want to speak with the manager that no one would ever tell me to switch her food, and how dare I switch her food cold turkey! Everything was being flipped that now I am the one in the wrong, and have I ever cared for a dog before?! Their ignorance and lies must come to an end.

These poor sweet animals should not be in unhealthy environments and we must come together to END PUPPY MILLS! Help me in getting this store to close their doors once and for all! They are liars and no not care for the dogs or their customers. Once you walk out of that door you were just another pack of cigarettes to them. This is such a SCAM and at whose expense? Ya I may be out $4,000 now for the Emma, but that is not what this is about.  I love Emma and I am very happy I have her and saved her from this abuse, but I cant’ go in and rescue all the other dogs, especially not with their price tags going up to $5,000! How can they provide fake breeding information! They need to close their doors, these girls working there should be ashamed to be part of such a ignorant establishment. I will be contacting all of the local news channels to expose Gary the owner and the rest of his staff.

There are many other reports against NY Breeders, many have lost their puppies due to illnesses they had when purchased but the vet paper work stated they were healthy. This is a HUGE issue, especially if you are bringing home a sick animal, you are putting your other pets at risk as well as yourself and your children, because many of these illnesses are contagious and can be fatal! Please read my report as well as the other reports against NY Breeders and DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS HELL HOLE!
