I worked in this deer park location for several days. The whole business is full of crap as I was lied to about pay, advancement and hours.Nobody makes any good money and the "bosses" are all scam artists. They do not care about you at all except how many things you can sell.I put in so many hours and was expecting my base salary and commision, but of course its all commision. After working with several people,I also found out the entire office sleeps with one another and theres absolutely no respect. They tell you that you can earn a 6 figure income with hard work. That is all bs.Its a totalitarian type business and the only way to move up is if you drink with the bosses or bow down to them.I felt bad for all the hard workers there who are just treated like pee-ons.If you get an email or call to go in for an interview,I would HIGHLY suggest againt it.Yopu will be very sorry

In my opinion, NYPE or NY Promotional Events is a total scam, and waste of people's time and effort. They keep the job description very vague, and make all these big claims about success and money. If you are young and impressionable, I imagine it's easy to buy into the nonsense they claim.
They call it 'marketing' and 'business to business' marketing... but in truth, they make people go door to door UNSOLICITED, and have these guys and girls push the company's agenda. The new great idea is auto glass... for some phony sounding 'Auto Glass Shop LLC'
They have people going around to different businesses in industrial parks and so forth, and having them ask people to have their windshield replaced 'at no cost'. The employees spew some garbage about doing an 'event in the area' or 'helping out your neighbors next door' and want to 'extend the courtesty' to them. It is not obviously 'no cost', the consumer has to have full auto glass coverage through their insurance company to get this work done.
The 'marketing' people go into the 'field' with no business cards, and no company information, other than a picture of windshield chips and cracks, and invoices to get work done. They will attempt to collect your credit card information and personal information before you leave so they can hold you hostage later.
This is not the work of a reputable company, and i'm sure if you have a problem with the company it will be nothing more than a nightmare.
If you are an intellegent business person you will stay FAR away from these poor excuse for marketing people.

i worked in this location for several months. you can grow fast depending on the work you do and if you can handle making a few houndred a week.... but as you progress and start to figure everything out you are giving events where you produce no sales and begin to get reprimanded for it. you spend all your time trainng and forgetting about yourself that your pay diminishes to nothing.. eventually you become un employed once agian looking for a job but now you have a little knowleged of what to watch out for. it was nothing but a bunch of empty promises that never get fullfilled and if you want ownership your dreams will get crushed as soon as the owner realizes you are better than she ever was and will ever be. it was a waste of time but then agaian i now know how to avoid scam companies like this one. pay close attention to the way people act they will show you what the job is really about.

I Always research a company before I entertain any Job Offer. I found a lot of Scam Stories all over the internet About this company and the companies that are housed under the same roof. The one that stood out the most is "The Child Safety Enterprises In Deer Park Ny Blog" Copy and paste in the search bar, Great stuff about manipulation.I also found another interesting Blog called" NY Promotional Events Scam" From reading every thing that was out there, I came to a conclusion it sounds like a scam operation or A pyramid scheme. I found out that there are two other companies at the same address called Grand Slam Promotions and National Promotions, They also have Scam attached to their names.I did a lot of research, I hope this makes your desision easier if you had doubts about this company.
