You can find a Help Me Howard news report about the scams run by NYBS simply by doing a Google Search of "Akemi Sone" - the owner. I have nothing to do with this report and it was initiated by other people who were scammed by the company. 

 I have been employed by several companies who know of my honor and reputation and any employer is welcome to request my references from the legitimite companies for which I have worked.

The only time I signed a check was when I was instructed to do so by Roy Miller. This check was for my payroll, so I was not stealing from anyone as I had earned the money. Roy had paid me almost 3 weeks late at this time, and when he issued the check it was without a signature. He told me to "go ahead and sign for me so you can cash it."

He then pressed charges on me for following his instructions in an attempt to get out of paying me. I was a young struggling person at the time and I did not have the resources to fight this offence. The best I could do was try to move on with my life knowing I would never be paid my comissions and have this scar.  The state did not see sufficent evidence to press charges, so they never did, or I would have gone to trial. This is their MO and I personally witnessed many people being broght to tears by Mr. Miller and Mrs. Sone and other employees being treated like servants. I also witnessed them paying in cash. This can be supported by the fact that they did not have payroll setup until 2009, but they had employees.

I was physically assulted by Akemi Sone and a police report was filed to this effect.

I hope this removes any doubt of my credibility. Mr. Miller is simply trying to lash out at a whistleblower. Too bad his company is out of buisiness and completely discredited at this point. Too bad. Not too sad!

I have worked for my last employers for several years and all of them have nothing but wonderful things to say about me. I became a victim of this school like many others and because I spoke out, I was defamed.

I did file a report with the police about the assult which took place as well. This report is public record.

Employers, Beware of Tracy Norton aka Teresa Norton!!! This is a rebuttal to the lies, false and defamatory statements posted August 7, 2009 (anonymously) by dis-gruntled ex-employee Teresa "Tracy" Norton. This is an attempt to set the record straight with the truth and the facts. At our company, we do not mistreat our employees and Tracy was never mistreated by us during the brief time (date of hire April 13, date of resignation June 3, 2009) that she was employed by us. We further categorically deny all of her false and libelous statements of intern abuse, tax evasion and bullying for which she offers and can present, no proof!

The notion that, "...by working in their admissions office and conducting sales...my reputation...has been damaged..." is not only ludicrous but is also false. Tracy Norton damaged her own reputation by comitting a felony against the Company during her employment with us. Tracy Norton forged the Owner's signature onto a payroll check and deposited it into her bank account and then lied to me about it! Tracy Norton was not "...falsely arrested...". In fact Tracy Norton was arrested by members of the New York City Police Department and charged with Penal Law section 155.30, Grand Larceny in the fourth degree a Class "E" felony on July 2, 2009. To be clear, Tracy Norton quit the company prior to us knowing she had committed said felony. A subsequent in-house investigation exposed her crime and also the fact that she possessed and refused to return to us, company documents and business cards.

Tracy Norton's next Court date is October 7, 2009 (People v. Teresa Norton, Docket No. 2009NY058771) at the Courthouse located at 100 Centre Street, New York New York in Part ASC. Employer's interested in this information may learn more online at the New York State Unified Court System web-site(http:iapps.courts.state.ny.us/webcivil/ecourtsMain) at  "E-Courts", "web-crims" because a criminal background check on this individual will not reveal the above-information. Rather than declaring her innocence of being a check forger and fighting the charges, she agreed to accept an ACD, an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal which effectively means that if she commits no further crimes in a six (6) month period of time, all information regarding this will be sealed by the Court and the matter administratively dismissed. 

Potential Employer's need to know the truth about her. She is now spreading toxic venom and lies about us but hides the truth about her own criminal conduct. When she left our employ she threatened to destroy our company and honorable reputations. Would you want to hire someone like her to "work" for you? The biggest mistake we ever made was in giving her a job! I wish we knew more about her true nature and background before we hired her. Now this (spreading internet lies) is how she spends her time venting her spleen. Is it ethical for Tracy Norton to continue to misrespresent the truth, I think not. Employers of New York, don't let this happen to you.
