Nylund Landscaping, INC. Stated a fence would cost $13.00 per linear foot and ended up charging 19. Ripoff Littleton Colorado

I was told that the cost of a fence would be $13.00 a linear foot. The final cost was $19.83 per linear foot. We were promised delivery in one week and it ended up taking 4 weeks. I was told three times that they were outside working on it and there was not a single person here. This company falsely represents itself. I have heard from other contractors that they are steadily going downhill. I talked to Rich, which I believe is the owner whom stated that he could do nothing about the price. He also stated that he asked everyone about the price and could find no one that quoted that price. The reason we used him in the beginning was because he left his card at the model home office where we purchased and told them it would be $13.00 a foot and then his representative Matt told me the same thing. I signed a contract and the contract stated a completion amount. I failed to check to see if that amount equaled the 13.00 per foot. When I realized the cost was too high I attempted to resolve the issue with Rich. No avail so I am left with reporting bad practices and passing it on to everyone in the neighborhood. The price that I have stated as a dispute is the price for half of the total cost of the fence.

The cost per agreed feet came to $1963.00 plus two gates which I can not value at this point so lets say 500.00 per gates sides, 2 sides so add $1,000.00 more dollars. I think that is too much but still a price. So if you take the 1963.00 and the 1000.00 and say 2963.00 for a cost that would be more like what I expected to pay. The actual total was $4566.34. Therefor I am asking the BBB if you can get back the $1603.34 I would be grateful. Reminder I did sign a contract for the stated 4566.34. I wish I had checked closer. If there is nothing you can do that is fine but I want to make sure that his practices and filed.
