NYSTCE Pearson Refused to grant full credit for a test I did not take Amherst Massachusetts

I registered for one of the required NYS Teacher certification exams. I chose Chidhood Education instead of Early Childhood. When I realized my mistake (which was a few seconds after I had made the purchase). I went back to attempt to correct it and the system sent a message only a partial refund would be issued. I contacted their customer serive department and they responded a few days later saying it was impossible to give a full refund because I had AGREED to schedule the exam on that date and time. I of course did not intend to it was an input error. They would not honour my request for a refund which is outrageous cusotmer service. This company alrady charges too much for exams. The exams I have taken so far and PASSED have nothing to do with Early Childhood Education and therefore are pointless. The EAS exam was all about settings in middel school and high school proving they are only out to make millions off the back of teachers and not doing anything in truly selecting the best teachers for the job based on test scores. It' a racket. I would still like to receive the full refund for the purchase I made in error and tried to correct. BEWARE when dealing with this company.
