My husband and I were looking for a loan to help us through some tuff times. We get a call from a guy from this company from Newmarket Financing telling us that we were approved for 5,000 but it was a secured loan and we had to send in the first 6 payments ( 960.00 ) my husband and I thought that we had found the light at the end of the tunnel when we heard this.

We asked him if the company was a member of the BBB and he told us no but he was a member of the Chamber of Com. So my husband called him back which the phone call was a lil weird when you call them you have to identify yourself first before the person answered.

When we got through to him he told us that we had to wire the money to a person in Canada. While my husband was on the phone I was trying to find any reports on the internet about this company and THANK GOD I found them on here. To those people that talked about them on this website we thank you from the bottom of our heart.

We told the guy that we knew his scam and then he threathed us saying he was going to come after of for saying the company was a scam and we told him about the research and how he said his comany was in bussiness for awhile but the company website address had just been set up a few days before that. Thank god for the WHOIS website to check out a website address.

So today 11/4/2008 a few days later we get a call from this Oakdale Lending Group saying the same thing that we were approved for 5,000 when we called them it was the same type of phone call like when we called Newmarket so i talked to the guy and he asked if we were in contact with any other lending groups I told them about Newmarket and the guy didnt seem surprised just said that there are alot of scam on the internet. After talking more to him it ended up being the same thing wanting money first to a private person. I got on this website again and saw that this was the same scam.

If anything comes from all this I hope that it helps people from getting their hard working money taken away from them. So please PLEASE DONT SEND ANY OF THESE COMPANIES YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY!!!!!!!!

thankful for ripoff report
