Oakwood Acceptance, Vanderbilt dishonest, ripoffs liars, cheats frauds underhanded rude scam artists BEWARE Greensboro North Carolina

i bought a home from oakwood acceptance in 1997. i'm a single mom with 3 children. i live on the fort hall indian reservation. when vanderbilt took over for oakwood acceptance they've tried once to repossess my home and tore it all to hell which i had to repair and they were court order by a tribal judge to repay me for all the damage they cause and up to date they never repaid me nor applied that amount to my account. the funny thing is that oakwood is the original filing entity and later vanderbilt piggy backed another repossession claim on oakwoods claim that was settled and done away with and the tribal judge granted repossession. i tried to talk directly with vanderbilt to find out where my payment had been applied that they claim they have never received that in fact their mail room clerk signed for because my tribal advocate sent them all by registered mail. the funny thing is vanderbilt admitted in open court they did received the payments and opted not to apply the amounts to my account but rather go for repossession. up to date i have not seen my payments applied to my account nor returned to me.

this fight has been going on for 2 years now. when i purchased the home i put down 12 grand and my payments were 185 a month but that amount kept going up after vanderbilt took over. when they repossess a home they don't allow you to get your personal things out, they just haul everything off in the home whether it's secured or not. i know this from experience from the first time because they were ready to haul all my possessions when they cut the power line that was still hot and cut all the pipes under my home the first time they tried to take it. they repossessed another home on the reservation and threw all the traditional things this owner had into a shed and threw the eagle feathers all over the place. many of her item she never found again. they have no regard for anyone.

i would like to get some feedback from anyone with some helpful information regarding any gutsy attorneys willing to help me out in a tribal court and federal court. i'm trying to file a federal class action lawsuit because this whole situation goes way beyond vanderbilt/oakwood acceptance because they use people that are as sleazy and as corrupt as they are.

please, please think twice before you do business with oakwood acceptance/vanderbilt. keep all your paperwork in order, tape all your conversations with these people, get names and write down the time and date you call. cover all your bases with this company because they are ruthless. if your a single mother: don't fall for any of their sweet talk because sooner or later you'll end up getting screwed by this company and it's not just you that suffers, it's also your children when their kicked to the streets because they can't locate your payments even though their mailroom clerk signs for them and there is documentation and they admit they get the payments but opt not to apply them to your account...ruthless....
