OAN Services For Telseven fraudulent billing for telephone charges Ripoff Ponte Vedra Florida

Telseven is an obvious scam. I was billed two months in a row for directory assistance services charges to Nevada. No one in my family was home at the time of any charges.

OAN Services, phone # 800-713-9078 tried to weasel out of refunding the charges the first time, but agreed to refund the second time without a protest when I told them I was aware of their fraud and was contacting the authorities. Their customer service reps even admitted they get complaints all the time about Telseven.

If you are victimized by Telseven and OAN, first call your local phone company and have them block all third party billing. It took some time and effort to find out that my local company (Sprint)was willing to do this, but it is your right to have this block on your line. Next, report the incidents to your local phone company's Fraud Department. Sprint's Fraud Department can be reached at 877-783-7283. Then, please take the time to report both Telseven and OAN to the FCC. Go to the fcc.gov website and look for Form 725 under the consumer section. This is for complaints of fraudulent billing, among other things. If enough victims bring this to the government's attention, perphaps something can be done to stop these larcenists.

Even though the amounts at stake are small this time, I am angry enough about the blatant dishonesty of the companies that I am going to contact the attorneys general of both Texas and Florida as well. This is theft, plain and simple, and OAN and Telseven should not be allowed to get away with it.
