OAN SERVICES - Nationwide Connect ripoff Fraudulent practice, falsifying phone numbers San Antonio Texas

I received charges on my business phone bill from OAN services inc, billed on behalf of Nationwide Connect, INC. Of course Sprint requires a phone number be provided for billing inquiries. That number was 800 713 9078. When I called, Operator Jessica, Rep 158 told me the collect phone call in question, which was placed on a Sunday, was from a pay phone on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. She asked if I had verified that no one on my end would have accepted the call.

Of course, Sunday is typically a day off, I do not have voicemail and the fax was turned off. That was my first clue, as someone would have had to accept a collect call and I was charged for 8 minutes totalling $7.00. Jessica informed me the charges would be credited on my bill within 2 billing cycles. I also asked her for an address, and for something in writing verifying this offer. She informed they do no give out addresses, just operator name and rep number. I called the phone company to try to get an address, and was informed that they only require a phone number to outside billing companies. This is another topic which needs to be addressed.

I also called the number in question and received a fax like sound. No payphone I know of has fax capabilities. Called OAN again, supplying my home phone number and dtalked to another lady. Asked for an address and was given PO box 29206, San Antonio Texas 78229. I really wanted to fax my sentiments, however, afraid to be charged $100 a minute. I am sooo tired of being taken advantage of. I just called Jessica at the call center and she told me to call OAN directly by calling 800 947-5085 #0. Should be interesting.
