Oberlin Family Dental Dr. Satterfield Left toothless and wondering what to do. Oberlin Ohio

I made an appt. with Dr. Satterfield to get an estimate of cost to fix my teeth.  She quoted me $2600 at the time which would include a partial and two crowns.  She recommended that I have 4 teeth extracted which would use up the rest of my dental insurance.  I made my appointment and had 4 teeth extracted. 

I waited until everything healed properly and made my appointment to have two (2) crowns made.  Then I waited until everything healed up probably two weeks later and called to make the appointment for the partial.  Since my dental insurance account was used up I had to pay the remainder of everything out of pocket.

Before I was admitted into the dental office the receptionist asked me if I was having one or both partials done at this time and that I had to sign some paperwork.  I said "Oh I thought there was only one partial??"  She then informed me that it was two and that the cost of both of them was four times what she had originally quoted me.  I asked if I could just do one and what the cost for that would be and she said double what the original amount quoted was and that I could pay half right now and half in a month when the partial came in.  

I told her that I basically cannot afford that.  I just spent $2000 for the two crowns.  They were unwilling to work with me on a payment plan or offer any help at all. When I told her that her original quote was $600 she did not offer any reason why now the amount changed.  She just gave me the price of $2200.  

I am now left with no teeth because I cannot afford their exhorbitant rate.
