EVIDENCE

1) Paypal Ripoff trying to steal $2800 AFTER I PROGRAMMED FOR 56 HOURS

2) how the website was looking after 56 hours of programming:

The website was supposed to compete against multi-million dollar companies that have custom websites built in PHP, Magento, jQuery, Javascript, Ajax...

This was NOT an easy project

3) This new document was submitted after 56 hours of work.
They told me that unless I destroy the home page and start the website from scratch (and for free) they will lose $2800. After I refused, they attempted to rob me $2800

PLEASE BE AWARE OF OCGADGETS!!!
IN THE SCOPE OF WORK IT CLEARLY SAY "NO REFUNDS"

I am a skilled programmer and the REASON why I placed that in the scope of work is because I know clients sometimes change the scope of work and expect programmers to work for free.

However in all my life I've never met with a company that wants to rob me and rip me off like this!

If they keep bugging me I will be FORCED to contact local Police Department, and I will be FORCED to sue them for
  1. Attempted Robbery
  2. Defamation
  3. Slandering
  4. Harassment
  5. Depriving me of my legal protections and personal assets on the basis of race

Here is the evidence
After 56 hours of programming, they changed their mind, and wanted to emulate Zagg.com.
They hired me to do a Magento website, and they mentioned they wanted something similar to shirtnetwork.com
After 3 weeks of work, they changed their mind, and wanted me to finish the entire project without any further payment
After I refused, they tried to steal $2800 from my Paypal account saying I didn't delivered a website.
Of course Paypal thought their dispute was absurd

BE AWARE!!!! SCAM!!! RIPOFF!!!
DO NOT DEAL WITH OCGADGETS AND IF YOU DEAL WITH THEM BE CAREFUL!!!

PHP programmer claiming to be a web designer!

AUTHOR: OCgadgets.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2012

These claims again OCgadgets are false. We hired this guy to finish our website in 60 days. He changed his mind quarter way through to "I want to finish this HUGE project in 15 days". "This is a very complex project". Give me your money. We were doubtful one guy could possibly finish this big of a project in that time frame. We are a new to these PHP programmers and decided to go ahead and pay him.

We never signed any contract whatsoever with this so called "programmer/designer"

We later found out this guy is not a web designer, he is indeed a common video game nerd.

After he supposedly worked for 80+ hours on a site that looks nothing like what we originally wanted, he admitted to being wrong and would redesign the site for FREE??!! Why would he want to do that?

After our last meeting we agreed to let him redesign the website "for free", he emailed us saying he has place an immediate personal conduct and restraining order on us and we are not to contact him in anyway?! He was saying he has personal family problems in the past and he is afraid we were going to physically hurt him?

We were obviously bewildered. We had no way of continuing our project and requested our funds back.

He posted claims and forms on this site that are false and slander. Any forms between companies are to remain confidential. Disclosing any confidential material or media on a third party site is illegal.

Beware of frauds on craigslist... our experience was negative.

Make sure you do you homework and:

  • sign a contract
  • make clear your designs by creating mockups and brainstorms
  • keep to your original time frames and ideas
  • do research on the company or individual before you give any fund
Your company or reputation could be on the line, even if the claims are false such as these!
