This loan was under the Ocwen Fed Bank FSB. The settlement of my divorce was February 2005. My ex-husband was rsponsible to pay this second mortgage to them. Before my final divorce, we filed bancruptcy and since this loan is a secured loan, it wasn't discharged.

When I had the settlement, the house is awarded to me and I agreed to take the responsibility on the second mortgage not knowing that this loan hasn't been paid. Months passed and On July 5th 2005, I received a letter of foreclosure from this Real Time Resolutions stating that i am so far behind in my payment.

According to the letter that if i don't cure the default, this collection agency will start the foeclosure proceedings. I was so shocked and stunned and didn't know what to do so I called this person (Pedro Salinas) to ask for extension. He only gave me 2 days to come up with the amount of $6,129.62 to cure the default which includes all the late charges, attorney's fees, and other charges. He still wants me to pay too for the month of July and August 2005. I asked him when was the last payment done and he said it was on May 2004.

So, I told him, all this time I never received any notice of late payment or any statement of payments so I have no knowledge about this late payments at all not unless my ex-husband has been taking all the statements.

I am asking from him any record of payment done, eversince he took over from Ocwen but so far up to now, I haven't received any. Since I don't want my house to be forclosed, i had to borrow money from my friends because I don't know where to bring my 3 young boys. Ocwen so far hasn't sent any notices at all on the late payments too. They are the ones supposed to be sending letters or statements.

I don't know what is going on here but what I know is I am being scammed by this company since they know now that I have the house when my ex-husband stopped paying them, Why didn't they send me statements on this loan and when I talked to Mr. Pedro Salinas about this, he told me to get hold of Ocwen but I don't have their telephone number.

Please help me, I wasn't represented fairly already in my recent divorce, I don't want my house to be forclosed. This is my lifetime savings and I am saving for my kids college too. I am penniless already and I don't know where to go and ask for help.

I mentioned to my ex-husband of him stopping the payment since May 2004 but he denies it. He said he had been paying them. So I am not sure what is really going on. Please, please I need your help. I hope someone out there who has a big heart will answer my pleas.

Violet - contact the Alaska Attorney General right away

AUTHOR: Kate - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 09, 2005

Violet - my heart goes out to you. I've been following these Ocwen stories on this website for a couple of years now. They will take your house.

You need to talk to your state attorney general. Also contact a lawyer. Borrow the money if you have to.

You will need someone to subpeona records of payment from your ex-husband and IF there are records this was paid on time you will need a restraining order against foreclosure until you can get a civil hearing.

Please don't just sit and wait it out. They take people's houses constantly. They're being sued and now the Office of Thrift Supervision has given them permission to close and move their holdings to Delaware so they can get out of civil prosecution and all these people have to file everything all over again. Most won't. Most will just be out of a house.

Get to the attorney general. And keep asking who is going to help you.

God bless, praying for you and your boys. Am in the same boat as you are - except I have a decent mortgage company - Sky. Thank God, they have been good to me - I also lost everything in a divorce. But I got to raise my kids, so I was the big winner in my book.

You can't believe anything that Ocwen says

AUTHOR: Jon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 03, 2005

Ocwen has an incredibly long and blatant history of scamming its customers. It would be a very good idea for you to read many of the other complaints posted here and at other web sites to get a better understanding of the precarious situation you are now in. Also, you should take immdiate action to avoid losing your property and good credit.
