OCWEN Financial Holding Company Ripoff wants me to give them SOC#, address, etc. Orlando Florida

I keep getting a recorded call almost every evening saying "someone from this number needs to call 1-866-218-3885 M-Thurs 8:00 am -9:00 pm and Friday such and such, and Sat-Sun, such and such. If you want to reach an agent now, press any key" When you press a key the phone goes to busy. I got tired of these calls so I called their toll free number, when the agent answered he kept trying to get me to give him my SOC # and my current address.

I asked where he was located & he said my company is located in Orlando, Fla. I asked him several times where he was located and he just kept telling me Orlando. I asked him about 5-6 times where "he" was located, & he then said "India". I asked him what he wanted and he insisted that I give him my SOC# & my address.

I told him that I don't do ANY business with anyone from India. I kept asking what he wanted and he just kept wanting my SOC # & address. He would not tell me anything until I answered his questions. I bid him Goodbye, & hung up. I do not have any unpaid loans,credit cards,etc. How can companies get your SOC#,phone number, address, & and other critical information & just hassle people without any reason. I think they buy information & then try to get someone to pay something they don't owe just to keep their credit clear & in good shape. The Federal Gov't should investigate this company for the type of harrassment they do to people.

If anyone reads this DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, they will just ruin your credit and still call you daily. I have also heard that when people do try to settle an old debt, they don't apply anything to the original debt, & you still owe everything and more. Also this debt will not be cleared off your credit record. They will unlawfully renew this old debt & you will go full circle again, & STILL OWE the debt, & it will be on your record as a new debt. BEWARE of Companies such as OCWEN FINANCIAL HOLDING CORP.
