I refinanced my home in Suffolk County Long Island, New York. I am worse off than I was prior to the refinance. My prior mortgage was a Internet only with a adjustable rate. My property taxes were not included. Taxes went up forcing me to refinance. A company called Fidelity Mortgage called me and set me up with Ocwen Financial Services. February 2007, Ocwen took over my mortgage and I never struggled as much. I've been forced also to enter into a debt program since the mortgage payment went up and I've been having trouble meeting the payments along with the credit card payments I had. When I spoke to someone to help at Ocwen they told to make my payment on time and try to pay more than the monthly payment until you can catch up. They misrepresent themselves and lie. I'm at the present time a month behind in my mortgage and getting charged late fees and they don't care. I found out now in October 2007, that I can't even get out of this mortgage if I tried since not only did they lie about the 30 year fixed mortgage I'm suppose to have. There's a 5 year adjustable and a 5% pre paid penalty on the balance of the mortgage if it's paid off before the year is over. Ocwen doesn't want to hear your financial strap and having problems making the payment they just want you to pay the monthly payment plus. I'm a single Mom of 3 gonna loose my house over this and no one can help. There must be someone out there. I'm a victim of mortgage rip offs and would love to see them stopped.

This company Ocwen and Fidelity Mortgage are a bunch of thieves and would not recommend anyone to deal with them
