Office Depot - The Express Group rebate ripoff on LCD Monitor check supposedly sent never received it after waiting one month Delray Florida

After speak to the "The Express Group" about my Office Depot rebate I was told the check was processed and was being mailed in two to three business days. Never received it. They were also rejecting the second rebate on the same product.

I told The Express Group that I had to exchange the first monitor on 1/9/05 so it would of been impossile to file the rebate by 9/10/05, seeing that had to cut and send information from the box. Sent exchange receipt as requested.

Didn't hear anything so I went on line and found it said the $50 check was approved and was being sent. The $80 rebate was listed as rejected still. Still no $50 check.

On 1/10/05 I received 2 emails stating that the $50 check was sent. One email said to wait 15 business days for the check and the one said I needed to wait 10 to 12 weeks.

Talked with Margaret McFaddin at the corporate office who looked into the matter and call me back. The next morning see called saying the check was mailed and wait till 4/1/05 and then call so they could issue me another check.

She said the $80 rebate was accepted and they processing. I have received nothing in writing to verify this. It is now 3/24/05 and have not receive anything.
