offthehookbikinis.com took my money, never made bathing suit Internet, Georgia

In May, I found this company online that makes custom ordered crochet bikinis.
I contacted them and had multiple pleasant email exchanges detailing what I wanted, sizing, etc.  The designer and I think owner, told me they were undergoing changes and could only temporarily accept money orders. I got one and sent it to her address.

Initial time estimate for delivery of the bikini was one month.  In July, I had not received it.
I wrote a note. She friended me on facebook saying that was an easy way to stay in touch.
She sent notes apologizing and talking about being behind schedule, but it would come. She offered incentives, extra gifts for my patience.

No bikini.

I wrote notes to facebook, to her at the noted address and she answered once including a tracking number for USPS. when I logged it in, I was told it was an error. I recontacted her. She never answered. That was in July. I have since sent multiple notes, explaining how frustrating this is. Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. She is all over facebook. But no replies to my notes.

It is  September, I have no bikini and no money. I was ripped off. And I am such a fool for allowing that to happen. I am filing this report to let others be warned and hoping perhaps somehow she will refund my money when she realizes her business, if it is real, will gain a bad reputation.

On facebook, she has tons of notices and her website looks very real. Her products are featured in magazines and on models.  So I really thought it was honest.
