As a PR professional who has needed to dip their toes in to the Mommy Blog world via product reviews, I have come across highly unprofessional behavior that I think warrants some type of response.
As there doesn't seem to be any resources for publicists to check on a blogs validity, I wanted to include a handful of outlets that I feel should be avoided.
Each of these outlets have ignored numerous, professional attempts to determine a product's review status. And from speaking to fellow publicists, this is a far too common occurrence where professionalism is implied.
Proceed with caution if you are contacted by any of the bloggers on this list as they've shown themselves to be untrustworthy.
And if any publicists are so inclined, please feel free to share your additions so we can all be in a better position to not have our clients, or ourselves, taken advantage of.
