Ohio Air Dogs. MARIE GOODWIN BOUNCED CHECK, CLOSED BANK ACCOUNT, FRAUD, BAD CHECKS, THEFT North Royalton, Ohio

Marie Goodwin wrote a check to my Salon business for $75.00 towards ALOT of product.  About a week or two later the check was returned to us, with an additional $20.00 for the bounced check fee. We got in contact with her and she became VERY defensive and snotty and told us she would be coming in on Friday (this was a wednesday) to pay the amount of the check plus a $30 bounced check fee that we enforce. She never showed. It has now been over a month and we are still owed a total of $103.00 from her. We have tried contacting her SEVERAL times since then and have been unavailable to get her on the phone, only to leave voicemails. We have also been calling her bank frequently to check if there were sufficient funds, and to no suprise, she never had the $75.00 to cover her bad check, which, mind you, was written from her BUSINESS account, for Ohio Air Dogs. Well we called the bank (and her) again today and the bank informed us that she just closed the account. So i decided to look up if she had done this before, and stumbled upon this website! From the looks of things it doesn't seem like I am going to be getting anything from her. We will be filing a claim with small claims court though, in HOPES that MAYBE this woman will decide to be an adult and pay her bills.  The best part about this situation is that a week prior to her writing the bad check, my business gifted her a $25.00 gift card for our salon for her to use at a "charity event". We obviously had no idea who we were dealing with!!!
