Ohio Steel Construction is a fraudulent company. The individuals operating this company, Nancy Locke and Jeff Simmons were previously reported on this site when they were doing business as Engineered Building Systems and Structure Steel Buildings. (Ripoff Report #1000798) Ohio Steel Construction and Engineered Building Systems were both formed by the Robert Soles, Jr. Law Firm - Law Offices of Robert E. Soles, Jr. located in North Canton, Ohio for the purpose to allow Nancy Locke and Jeff Simmons to continue to operate in the building and contractors industry. Kara Dodson, an Attorney for the above mentioned Law Firm is listed on the Ohio Secretary of State's web page as the Incorporator for Ohio Steel Construction while Robert "Bob" Soles, Jr. is listed as the Incorporator for Engineered Building Systems.

Ohio Steel Construction was formed on 9\15\2014, just three months after the Ohio Secretary of State's office canceled Structure Steel Buildings; the only one of these three companies where the Ohio Secretary of State has listed Jeff Simmons as the company's Incorporator. Ironically, Ohio Steel Construction says on its web site that they've been operating and serving thousands of customers since 2003. These folks are fundamentally deceptive and con artists. According to the Better Business Bureau Structure Steel Buildings has received a number of complaints within the past 36 month reporting period which they feel appear to be of a serious nature and they have issued an ALERT!.

These complaints include unpaid vendors, subcontractors that have not been paid wages for services rendered, non fulfillment of contracts and complaints from those who have already filed legal action though the courts. I was contacted by Jeff Simmons and asked to Manage Sales for Ohio Steel Construction which duty I performed from 10\05/2014 until 12/12/2015. I was originally told by Jeff that Ohio Steel Construction had been in operation since 2003. Because of all the deceptive maneuvering mention previously, the BBB has not yet received complaints against Ohio Steel Construction so my home work regarding the company was limited to www.ohsteel.com and whatever Jeff and Nancy had to say.

I didn't become suspicious until I stopped receiving commission for  projects I was told to expect a commission. After waiting for more than 140 days for commission payments, which I have yet to receive, I began to do some research to see if I had a legal leg to stand on and that's when I started to discover all of the previously mentioned activities and deceptions. I am yet another casualty in the wake of these two fundamentally deceptive individuals. Nancy Locke , Jeff Simmons, Law Offices of Robert E. Soles, Jr., Ohio Steel Construction and Engineered Building Systems need to be banned from operating in the building and contractors industry PERIOD!
