Old Brick Furniture Sells Substandard Furniture and POOR Customer Service Albany New York

In March of 2008 my wife bought a Sofa and Loveseat for $1100. at the Schenectady location. We went to pick the furniture up at the Albany warehouse and when we got there we waited almost 2 hours and then the warehouse manager told us he did not have the sofa. He told us we could have the demo sofa and they would deliver the new one the next day. As we gave away our old furniture we took it.

The next day they still did not have our new sofa but they told us they would refund $50. to keep the one we had which I agreed to as I did not want to waste a nother day of missing work. Within 30 days the cussions started sagging and looking terrible. After speaking to Mike the manager he told us there was nothing he could or would do. I fild with the Attorney Generals office but they would not get involved.

I spoke to the Service Manager also named Mike who had a bad attitude and told us that the furniture was on clearance and there were no returns. I was never told that but he said it was on our receipt. I asked him what about the manufactures warranty for 5 years and was told that clearance items were not covered. They were always very rude to me and I was very nice to them. They sell substandard furniture.

Now less than a year later I have to purchase a brand new living room set. I also e-maild the manufacturer and have never been contacted back. If you want to buy furniture you should buy it anywhere but Old Brick.
