Norman the proprietor couldn't be anymore obvious with the bait and switch tactics he pulls. He isn't even Good at spinning his web of lies.

I have dealt with him twice and both times I was given misleading information over the phone either by him or the woman who works there.

The prices mysteriously go up by 5 and 10 dollar increments from when you arrive until you leave or you get bamboozled in to a purchase. You can tell this is common practice just by watching and listening to Norman and he other woman in the office interact by phone or in person with other customer while you are in the shop waiting for your turn like cattle wait in line at the slaughter house.

One thing you realize as you shop for tires and call shops in the area for prices and sizes is that when you say 'Olneyville Tire said. ..' well you don't get much further before they chuckle or they give you the beware of Norman speech.

This place still gets victims but if I can just help one person not to waste their time or money then I will know that the time to sign up on this site and write this complaint was worth while.

BEWARE OLNEYVILLE TIRE SHOP!

BTW I found a company in New Bedford who had my tire size and were less than half of the final pumped up Olneyville Tire price. Oh and they were nice and treated me fairly from my initial phone call all the way until I drove away with my tires.

If the tires were 10 or even 20 percent less, then it would just be normal business but the price disparity is so huge it makes you wonder about how many unsuspecting people paid through the nose cause they were flim flammed by Norman.
