With reference to the Complaint of Penelope, a fictitious name of no known client of ours, submitted August 14, 2001 and posted in August 14, 2011 in Yonkers, N.Y.:
We believe it to be a client of ours who had been represented by a previous lawyer who worked for her for a Labor Certification for two years.  The complainant qualified under Section 245(i) of the Immigration law, but the previous law firm had been unable to complete her case because her employer could not prove its financial ability to pay the prevailing wage.  We then worked for her on a new Labor Certification but she dismissed us before we could complete it.

 While complainants case was in Court, we never failed to appear each and every time the case was scheduled.   In and about June, 2011, she discharged us and told us she had chosen another lawyer to represent her .  The new lawyer she hired, did not appear for her on the day of her last hearing in Court, and she called us the day of the hearing at 8:30AM to come to Court for her to replace her new lawyer.  Since we had been discharged as her lawyers, we regrettably had made other arrangements to appear in court  on behalf of other clients . The allegations of Penelope are untrue and unfair.  We always  help our clients conscientiously and competently.
