Omaha Steaks deceptively advertizes that you're getting thick. succulent filet mignon, when actually, you're getting something very different.  Their filet mignon is falsely represented in their online advertisements as being quick thick.  If you examine the images, you see what appears to be a very decent filet. Note the thickness of the filet in the image and compare it to the surrounding objects in the images.  You would expect your steak to look like that, right? Think again.  What you actually get are thin, unimpressive cuts of what is probably not anywhere close to USDA prime. Nothing you get looks like what is shown in their ads. Their steaks are also frozen, which tends to diminish the quality of the meat in the first place. If you want good steak, find a local butcher, save yourself the trouble, the shipping, and the disappointment.  I corresponded with Omaha Steaks many times about their false advertizing, and of course, they didn't want to discuss it or admit that there was any issue with showing very thick-looking filet and sending hamburger-patty thick product.
