Omega Stores Short life 700.00 log splitter electrical problem.... was told to return for repair then told OOHH only 1 year yarrenty on Electric 121 N Plains Industrial Road Wallingford, CT 06492 Nationwide

Log splitter purchased for 700.00 with 2 year warranty.  After short use an electrical short developed in the motor.  I emailed and called Omega Stores.  I was told I could send the motor back to the mfg in Conn.  I sent the motor back UPS, 65.00 was answered that Omega now only covers a year on electrical.  I used the product 3 times.  This same unit can be purchased at Harbor Freight for $200.00 dollars....the price of a new motor from Omega Stores is guess what $185.00....these people did not advise me of the 1 year electrical wannanty.  They did offer to send the broken unit back at my expense.  Look on google for Omega Stores Complaints....WOW  Buyer Beware
