One Beacon Insurance Company Useless, incompetent, slow, horrible Canton Massachusetts

Where does one begin?

Feb 3 2009 I was in a collision. It was not my fault. My Chrysler Van was totaled. I had rental insurance. It took 6 days before I was able to get a rented car. The 1st offer that I received for my van was $2800. I produced over $4000 in invoices to One Beacon on repairs and improvements on my van. This total accounted for the last 2 yrs in repairs. I had invested more than double that amount on it in the last 5 yrs. The Kelly Bluebook listed the van at approx. $4800. I ended up having to settle for $3570.

Upon me signing the title over to One Beacon , exchanging it for a check, I had assumed that this ordeal was over. It was now the 22nd of Feb. 20 days later and it was finally over. I go to cash the check at Bank of America. It was the issuing bank. They refused to cash the check. I was furious and took the check to another branch. It was inconceivable that this check was no good. The other branch refused it as well. I called all of the various representatives at One Beacon inquiring about the matter in an attempt to resolve the problem with the check. The rental car company wants their car back on Friday the 26th. I still have no car. But I do own a check that I can't cash because IT'S NO GOOD. The One beacon reps. stated that the check was good. Can 2 banks be wrong? But they'll call me tomorrow if they have time.

And I sit here able to do absolutely nothing. I am so fed up with these people and the State of Massachusetts and their self serving policies. I've paid in over $13,000 over the last 10 years with this company and have a perfect driving record.

I feel that I have been severely ripped off and question what it was exactly that I had been paying for over the last 10 years. Frankly, I have no Idea what I'm supposed to do next. And this company is the worst experience that I have ever had with any insurance company ever. Thanks for letting me vent a little.
