I was in the process of selling my 04 BMW 330 CI and came across onestopmotors.com online. But stopped positing the advertisement half way thru when I found the price was $499.

But later that day I got a call from OneStopMortors.com explaining me the benefits of listing the car with them. They assured me that they will get my car sold soon with the different options they have for buyers. They said that they list the car in various websites and search engines to generate lot of interest for the car. We discussed the bottom line price for the car too on the call.

I wanted to get 25K for the car, so they recommended me to list it for 26K. The stressed again that I will thankful that I was able to even get my $500 paid to them this way. During the whole conversation it was never mentioned that or did they tell me that they are just and advertising agency and there will be chance that no one will respond to the ad. The whole time I was on the phone (30 Min or so) they were very positive that I sign and the car will be sold within weeks.

So I paid them and waited for the flow of interested parties to come thru OneStopMotors. But even after one month passed I did not get a single lead or phone call from them. When I called to inquire they told me wait for few more weeks. But I started to get the feeling that this is how they are treating all their clients because they were giving me the run around from one person to another. They have been extremely difficult to talk to because I was asking for a refund for poor service.

Finally, they put me to talk to their Customer service manager Will ( who is no longer working there now) and he told me that he will try to get be a partial refund as I wanted to cancel. They were also not allowing me to talk to the Sales person who signed me up the first place.

Again I waited for few more weeks to see if they will call me back or not. But nothing happened for two weeks even thought they told me that they will call me back. It been months since then and no response from them, other than that they dont issue refund.

I was completely misrepresented by the sales person on their service promise and was not happy right after the first month.

I am locked in with the high payment made to them. I have even tried reducing the price on the car. But the important thing is that there service is not good at all and doesnt do what they promise.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

these guys are sleaze

AUTHOR: Coburg - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 24, 2007

I worked at OneStopMotors for two weeks a couple of years ago. They are absolute sleaze. I am ashamed that I ever worked there.

OneStopMotors is why I would never never never buy anything over the phone. Some places may be legitimate but some are not. OneStopMotors is one of those that is not.
