When checking my current Discover Statement I made the discovery that a company named ONLINE BIZ out of Scottsdale AZ had charged my account twice. The first amount was for $39.85 and the second was for $129.85 for something I DID NOT authorize. I immediatly contacted Discover, explained the situation and started the "dispute process". I then contact this company with the listed phone number of 800-749-3304. They have a second number listed as 800-530-6819 but both go to the same location. Here is a transcript of how these conversations went.

OLB: Hello?
Me: Hello I am calling in regards to a charge made to my Discover Card by your company that I did not authorize. Can you help me?
OLB: If we charged your account you authorized it. CLICK!!

Well that was a short call. So I called the second number...

OLB2: Hello?
Me: Hello I am calling in Hello I am calling in regards to a charge made to my Discover Card by your company that I did not authorize. Can you help me?
OLB2: Whats the name on the account?
Me: I provided my name
OLB2: Ummm...whats your phone number?
Me: I provided my phone number 6 times.
OLB2: Ok I can't find you...
Me: Really?? Then would you explain how it is you charged my CC two payment totalling $169.70?
OLB2: What?...no no I have you right here in our system.
Me: Really?? Ok
OLB2: Gives me an address in Georgia that IS NOT ME.
ME: Sorry...that IS NOT ME.
OLB2: It's not?
Me: No I do not live in Georgia.
OLB2: Well where do you live then?
Me: Isn't that something you should know?
OLB2: Ok so what is the credit card number that was used?
Me: Your joking right? I am NOT going to give you that number.
OLB2: Ummm...well then whats the last 4 digits of that number.
Me: I provided the last 4 digits.
OLB2: OH...OK Here you are....
Me: Are you sure its me this time?
OLB2: Ummm yeah...whats your husbands name? you do have a husband right?
Me: Excuse me but what does that have to do with anything?
OLB2: I am verifying who used this card.
Me: (chuckle) Sorry...this card is only in my name and I am the only one who uses it.
OLB2: Ok...well it says here that you authorized these charges.
Me: Really? and what name is that, that gave permission for this?
OLB2: Quotes me a name that IS NOT MINE.
Me: Wow, again your wrong...that IS NOT ME.
OLB2: Yes it is. Oh wait.... silence then music.....
OLB2: OK...I got this...now what?
Me: I expect a full refund of ALL CHARGES MADE to my account ASAP!
OLB2: wait....silence and music.....
OLB2: our refunds are running 2 to 3 weeks behind. Since I have authorized the refund you don't need to contact Discover.
Me: Oh..well sorry I already contacted them and let them know that these were fraudulent charges.
OLB2...long silence...what else do you want?
Me: I want a statement from you that these funds will be returned.
OLB2: We don't issue statements like that.
Me: Ok, then I better not find another charge on this account from you people.
OLB2: I told you it would be refunded.
OLB2: How did you find this number?
Me: It was on my statement along with another that I called and got nothing but a hang up on.
OLB2: Hold on please....silence...music...
OLB2: You will get your money back.
Me: Well thank you...but understand that I will be watching this and if that money is not returned I DO have the Attorney Generals phone number on speed dial for Az and I WILL be contacting him. It appears that after doing some research on line you people have quite a nice scam going on and have hit dozens of others for these charges as well. So please don't disappoint me....I really would hate to have to sue you and since I know where you located it would not be hard.

Sometimes it pays to play mean! Beware that this company has about 6 different phone numbers that I could find but the address is the same for them all. I DID contact the Attorney Generals office and found out that there have been over 2000 complaints so far about this company. I also contacted the domain provider for their web site and I am hoping that I can get it shut down for fraud.

BEWARE: IF YOU SEE THEM ON ANY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT...TAKE ACTION RIGHT AWAY AND BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE THEM WITH.
