I was duped.  My wife had just opened a business, all in her name, she is young and has invested all of her money and time into this.  I figured I was helping her out by signing the "final notice" from the yellow pages to correct her info before it went to print.

Well, boy was I wrong!!! It must had been a month after I sent it off that my wife got a phone call from onlineyellowpages.com for a balance of over $300.  She instantly defended herself to the woman on the other side saying she had never signed anything!!!! Without even saying goodbye or communicating further, the woman hung up on my wife.

She thought, phew....dodged a bullet, good thing I didnt give her any info...... In approximately 2 weeks, my wife got a phone call from the "French Law Firm" informing her that our account had now gone to collections....? My wife was furious and had no idea what this was for.

They emailed my wife a copy of the postcard I had signed. For sure we would get out of this as I am not on any legal paperwork for the business and have no authority here. They wont let up.  It has now been over 6 months, every week or two someone from the law group calls us.  Every time my wife has to inform them that she has no intention of paying.  That it is a scam and that they had better leave her alone.  She has offered them $50 to leave her alone and "settle" the fee and they wont take it.

The sole intention of this company is to mislead you into thinking they are your local yellow pages. Their intentions are wrong and immoral.  I can not believe anyone would ever work for this company, let alone defend it in a court of law. How do they sleep at night?

Any help would be great, and f you have a similar story, post it up so hopefully we can grow a force large enough to end the bullying and harrassment!!
