I purchased a MachSpeed memory card from TigerDirect because it had a $ 30.00 rebate lowering the cost to $ 4.99. So I thought it was a good deal, and the rebate process was really easy to do. Well-here's the updates from www.onrebate.com

Payment Sent

I've emailed onrebate.com 6 times now wondering where my rebate was/is/will ever be. I've called 2 X now-have been told two times now that they will re-issue my check, and to give it 7-10 business days to get my check. As of today-12/9/2006, it's been almost 4 months since I've applied for my $ 30.00 rebate. I will NEVER use TigerDirect again even if they give things away for free-and will tell every single person I know/meet/greet to never buy from TigerDirect

New Twist to the Saga

Well-www.onrebate.com has emailed me telling me that my "rebate" was sent to my Paypal account-BUT they sent it to an inactive account that I've not used in over 2 years. Paypal has informed me that since the account is inactive-the PAYMENT WILL GO BACK TO onrebate.com. So now I've got to go thru this 5-6 month process yet again to get my $ 30.00 rebate. I've never ever in my whole life dealt with a worse company than TigerDirect and www.onrebate.com I'm so tired of these people-and that's EXACTLY what they want is for people to give up so they don't have to pay the rebates-or hold onto the money for 5-6-7-8-9 months or more to get more interest. I hope that they get sued for every nickel and dime that they've STOLEN from decent people.
