OPK Telemarketing Misclassified me and got me in trouble with the IRS Littleton, Colorado

While employed, I was  told where to call and my calling areas were chosen for me. Again, I was given instructions and training. I was told to use their provided computer phone database and these were all their targeted businesses.

The definition of an employee is a worker who receives an hourly wage amount, just like I was. On the other hand, an independent contractor is normally paid a flat fee and can make their own profit or loss. The position paid predefined wages per hour; not commission or a percentage. And it was a pay per single call or a paid by appointment-only job description.

Even if there could possibly be any breach of our contract in any shape or form, the employer misclassified me as an independent contractor and it has suggested a strong indication of being invalid.
