Option One Mortgage - American Home Servicing evicted me from house without eviction order or involvement from magistrates office Irvine California

I purchased a home in 2005 and put 30,000 down on a 185,000 loan using Option One Mortgage. Shortly after signing the papers, my loan was "transferred" to a servicing company, AHMSI. AHMSI refused to process my check payments the following month, and sent me a notice advising me because I had fallen past due on my mortgage, I needed to make all payments through Western Union in cash. I did this, making double payments for a year which were never applied to my mortgage.

When I called to try to find out why I was told my loan needed to be modified or they would foreclose. While waiting for the modification, a third party real estate agent came to my house, cut off the locks, and threw my stuff out on the street.

We were never notified, the magistrate was never involved, the real estate agent did not follow eviction procedures and I recently received a current tax bill on the property dated after the eviction. My wife is disabled, and I was also sick at the time, so we were unaware this was going on until we had lost all our possessions and the house was secured against our re-entry.

We have now invested over 80,000 in a property we are forbidden by law to set foot on, and my wife and I are both homeless with no hope of ever getting back on our feet. AHMSI and Option One conspired to take everything we had spent a lifetime accumulating, not only our house, but through the illigal eviction, all our possessions including my wifes wedding dress and our marriage certificate.

Do not do business of any kind with this company. They lie, cheat and steal. They manipulate their books to take your payment without applying anything to either principle or interest. I have been advised they are systematically doing the same thing to others all across the country. When you attempt to contact them or make arrangements they route your call around and around until you are disconnected or give up.
