Optum Rx I have had so many issues with Optum Rx ... Customer service is a bunch of idiots!!! They never follow through with what they say. Mailed in very important maintenance scripts, said never got it and they will fax form to doctor 3 hours later no fax received. Think they took perscription filled it and stole it. That's why these people are such idiots!!!! Too many drugs!!!! This is just one issue.. Soooo many more!!!! Internet

I have had so many problems with mail order maintenance drugs. Trying to talk to customer service is like talking to a wall. They have no idea what they are talking about and one would assume all the "missing scripts" that I was told they never received, ended up in their mouth.
Customer service never follows through with what they say. Today I was told " we will fax a request to your doctor for my maintenance drugs( pills I am Not supposed to stop taking) I called Doctor 3 hours later.. guess what.. No fax!!!
This is a horrible horrible company and should be shut down!!! I have filed a formal complaint , and also spoke with my employer. Several of my doctors have also filed complaints. Whenever I mention Optum Rx to a doctor, they literally cringe just at the name.
I have decided to pay out of pocket rather than deal with these idiots!!! Stay far far away from this company!!

The people you talk to on the phone are in a call center, nowhere near the "pharmacy". The dept that receives your prescription hard copy does not work anywhere near the pharmacy (aka fullfillment center) either. The prescriptions are filled by machines in an assembly factory. So, no, the people on the phone and receiving your prescription order requests through the mail are not taking your medication.

I do order refills on their website and not by mail. When I need to renew a scrip, I just select renew and they have a downloadable form that has all the info to send to my doctor. I then fax that form to the doctor and it's been working well so far. Is there a reason you can't use the online ordering? If it's a matter of not knowing how to use it, I would suspect you could call them and they would help you. Good luck to you.

BTW, what is the basis of this statement? If they filled them for themselves, by law it can't be filled again for you. Have they been refusing to fill prescriptions? Are these narcotic (opiate) scrips?
