Orange County Appliance Repair & Servce General Appliance Repair Don't be fooled by the low service call fee/Awfull service, Internet

On Sunday 7-24-11 my fridge was not staying cold and I needed to do something fast as my freezer food was thawing.  I googled Orange County Ca appliance repair and found this company that was available 24/7 and only $29.99 to give an estimate.  I chose to use them to see if my fridge was fixable or simply pay the fee and buy another fridge.  After Roy arrived he did some QUICK troubleshooting and determined that the condenser motor and fan needed replacement for $194.00 parts plus tax and $112.00 labor for a total of $306.00. 

I agreed to the repair as Roy assured me it would solve the cooling problem and be my least expensive option.  The part needed to be special ordered and was not installed until Wednesday 7-27.  The new part  started making a loud noise that night after Roy left and the fridge was not getting cold at all.  I called Thursday and was told that only Roy  could come back and follow up on the problem but he injured his hand and wouldn't be able to come back until Saturday.  I called to confirm Saturday , but no one showed up or called. 

Roy finally came by on Monday 8-1-11 and determined that the cost to repair our fridge would be another $700.00 or so.  I said no, he said sorry, and said he might be able to give me a break on the labor cost.  I called Ashley the dispatcher (whom seems to be the only one ever answering the phone) and complained.  I asked to speak to a manage, she refused and she only gave me an e-mail to lodge a complaint.  If you are reading this report, please save yourself alot of time and hassle and do not use their service. 

They are not professional, they lie, and they do not honor their warranty.  Theres not even a physical address on their invoice or web site.  Its probably a Mom and Pop operation working out of their garage and gouging consumers all over Orange County.  I wasted $306.00 on a fridge that is going to the trash and most all my food spoiled.  Dont let them victimize you. BEWARE
