This company and its subsidiary other names send out fake invoices for magazines. Some you may subscribe to and others are trial balloon invoices to see if you will pay. Antique Trader says they do not do business with these billing people and certainly do not charge that price! There must be big money in it! One San Franciso TV station has done a report on this scam because it is SO real looking. Anyone would be fooled.
This week I have gotten invoices for
Antique Trader 1 year 80.95,
Woman's Day 1 year $54.00,
Art & Antiques 1 year $85.00,
Antiques the Magazine $115.00,
Two for U.S.Weekly $175.00,
Two for Antique Trader 1 year 69.95,
Two for People Magazine, 1 year $175.00.

Courtesy the Ohio Attorney General's office, I have a contact email at this company. Laura <laura@pubgroups.com> Be sure to explicitly tell her to remove you from their database. Here is what I sent.
"Please also remove (spouse's name) from the mailing list. As I used to do numerous mass mailings at my former employers, all it will take is a phone call to the printer and one to the database manager. Really easy, really simple.
You do NOT have permission to in any way use, share, publish, reproduce, or otherwise utilize my name and address or that of my wife for any internal, external, commercial, non-commercial, for-profit or not-for-profit purpose."
Maybe if enough people do this, they will stop. Ohio, Nevada & the Postal Inspector offices all say what the company is doing is deceptive but not illegal. Maybe the laws need to be changed.

I received a Notice of Renewal/New Order today in regards to renewing DOG WORLD. We live approximately 1/2 a mile or so from Lemmon (Valley) Dr. Did a map quest of the address and it turns out to be a UPS/Mail outlet at our local strip mall. So some scumbag is renting a box and making money.... my advice, SHRED!!! I think I will make a stop there and complain!
