I contacted Generac to purchase a heater kit for my fathers standby generator. After getting the corect part number from them I was transfered/directed to Ordertree.com to fufill the order. They charged me $548.70. When my dad received the package and saw what was in it he called me and said "$548 dollars for this?!!" it was a quart of oil, a filter, and 2 heat mats.

I proceeded to shop around (which I should have done in the first place) and found the same kits, brand new from ebay for $225 and on amazon for $280. When I contacted Generac they said they have nothing to do with how Ordertree set their prices and When I contacted Ordertree they said that they use the pricing that Generac suggests. They offered me a measly 10% discount.
