I ordered two products from Oreck, believing their company was reputable and professional and that is how David Oreck has built his company and reputation.

Now I realize his company is built on theft, corruption, and denying customers REAL customer service or results.

They have charged my credit cards for both products, no products have been received over 6 weeks after order. They said the order is shipped. UPS says there is no shipment from them under that tracking number. I have contacted UPS corporate offices and they state the products were billed for shipment but never shipped.

I have entered bank disputes to dispute these charges, and have notified UPS that I will not accept any deliveries from Oreck.

This money has still not been refunded, and if you read the other items listed under ORECK CORPORATION, you will see that everyone has these problems. In fact, when I entered my bank to file the dispute the teller said she had ordered TWO of the air purifiers and had returned them over two months ago and the company still had not provided a refund.

As for customer service, if you really want to know the reputability of the company, call their number 1-800-989-3535, and wait for a customer service rep. Plan on spending 45minutes to 2 hours on hold before you speak with anyone and then when you do speak with someone you will absolutely get no answers or resolution. If a company was so reputable, then why would so many customers be calling customer service and making the wait on average an hour to speak with a customer service rep.

Fact is....They are theives, that make their money on people that finally give up on trying to return products or get a refund. David Oreck is a FRAUD.

The air purifiers that they advertise as so quiet, sound like a Jet taking off.

Beware of this company, and do yourself a favor, Go to walmart, target, home depot or lowes and buy a vacuum or air purifier.

You will have nothing but trouble as is seen on every report of this company. The only person or report you ever hear praising Oreck and it's product is Oreck's commercials. DON'T DO IT.

Overcharged by Oreck

 Oreck claims to have an easy payment plan.....But they lie. I bought a vaccum from them a couple of weeks ago, on the plan where you pay 25% down and the rest in 11 payments from your credit card or bankcard. They took the initial 25% down which was ok, and a day after I recieved the vaccum, they took another 25%, in turn this cause my bank account to go into insufficient funds. Now they have taken $391.75 out of my account besides the 25% down payment. It has been like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from the customer service, no one will tell me what happen or when I will get my money back, they tell me that they will pay the fees, but when? I done everything they have ask me to do, and still no refund. I am on Social Security, so you can understand this is a great deal of money to me.

No Problem with my Oreck!!!!

I ordered an Oreck XL21 on their website, received it in under a week, and have been completely satisfied. I've had it for two months and can truly say it's the best vacuum I've ever owned. I have a big Saint Bernard that sheds all over the place, but she is no match for my Oreck. I vacuum twice a week and cannot find any pet hair on my carpet anymore. I also love how my Oreck fluffs my carpet up during each use. I can feel the difference on my bare feet.
