Bought an '08 Jeep Wrangler from Orr. It's lifted with custom rims, really nice. I was happy when I drove off. Bought the extended warranty for $100 extra a month for 3 years.
While driving back to base at Ft. Polk in Louisiana, I noticed a really bad shake from the wheels. I drove the 6 hours back to Orr to have them look at it. It was then they "noticed" I had locking lugs on the wheels and they didn't have the key. They told me there was nothing they could do. Suggested I try Discount Tire or something. They have no plan to even try to see what the problem is with a car they sold WITH A WARRANTY.
I'm now going to have to go to a Jeep dealership to try to fix what Orr doesn't want to deal with. They have my money, now I just need to go away as far as they're conserned.
Be real clear knowing that once you drive off the lot, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!! Warranty or not.

Richard, wow both wrong and nasty
The Puzzle lock Lug Nut key is part of the car just like the ignition Key.
The dealer should have offered to pay for one and explained why the OP would have to go to a local tire shop, No brainer for a Reputable Dealer.
The tire shake should have been revealed durring the dealers Used Check Over. (And pre purchase test drive) But Oversize Custom Rims can be an unrepairable problem. Commonly the tires and Rims are just too large for the stock steering to deal with, Couple this with poorly installed lift kits, a nice looking, off road capable truck can be a pain on the Road. Its a risk with the modifications. What irks me about this issue is that either the dealer got the customer to stay below Highway speed, or directed him to stay away from the Highway durring the test drive to cover it up. (A Guess but I would bet real money!)
But the dealer should have known and caught the issues, been up front about the issues and 99% of the time an angry guy like the OP isn't angry anymore or never would have been angry.
About you Richard, do you enjoy beeing a troll?

You HAVE to be kidding me!!! Did you think that you bought a service contract that covers a lost wheel lug key? Better read that contract carefully. I bet it won't cover the boscoe flange or the blinker fluid or the muffler bearings either.
Are you in the military? i sure hope not, otherwise we are in real trouble.
