Ostrow and Company are the only legitmately connected producers rep firm in Hollywood. Probably because it's run by seasoned and well respected Hollywood superwoman Page Ostrow.
 
Even average independent films seem to get into theaters, onto television, and video around the world when Ostrow and Company are retained to do the work. They are sticklers about their fees though so don't bother trying to negotiate it will just piss them off! I am greatful I knew this before hiring them so I can come accross as a class act and just put my best foot forward when it came to putting my money where my mouth is on my film!
 
I figure I spent the money making the film as did my investors so to act like I had nothing left (as I hear alot of filmmakers do) just wasn't my style. I was very respectful and listened carefully to what the company strategy would be for my film. I was impressed and went ahead and retained the firm.

I received regular emails and reports Then I got a call from Jeff Porter letting me know Ostrow had a bidding war going on my film! The fact is I really didn't think my small indie film with no stars would really garner any offers if I handled it and I don't think I am being humble when I see I believe it was due to Ostrow's relationships that I received three offers.

The greatest part is Ostrow is hired to represent you but at no time has signature or rights to your film so you can be advised and they will negotiate for you but you get to sign off on the deals you want. After days of them negotiating for me with three distributors I decided upon the deal that seemed strongest after lots of discussions with the Ostrow team.
 
I am now onto my third film and I am hooked. I wish I had known about Ostrow on my first feature. I can't say enough good things about all the people that work at Ostrow and Company. I know some x employees left the company and continue to slander Ostrow in attempts to steal business (they only charge a fraction of what the pros fees are and for good reason..."you get what you pay for!" Hope this review helps anyone who is confused about paying for pros to get the work done you need on your film

The reality is today their are just too many entitles and unprofessional people making films and aquistion execs don't want to deal with filmmakers even if their films are okay or good because they want to work with people they know..like Ostrow!
