Our Future Children, Inc. Our Future Children Failure to pay for services provided Duncanville TX

Our company engaged in a services agreement with Our Future Children in the fall of 2017. They presented themselves as a non-profit organization designed to assist with at risk youth. Our services were utilized for roughly two and a half months to assist with the after school meals for the children with terms that we were to be paid for our services within 30 days of invoice date.

Our Future Children paid our first two invoices at the 40 day mark, which was tolerable at the time. We did not receive another payment until the oldest invoice was 60 days old. At this time they were told they must get current in order to continue to utilize our services. We gave them one more week in order to catch up payments. At this time all calls and e-mails began to go unanswered.

The outstanding balance was over $10000 at the time so we made a business decision to discontinue services to Our Future Children. Many more collection attempts were made over the insuing several months with zero acknowledgement from thier President, Brian Chapman and one of their other corporate employees, Beverly Chapman.

We finally placed the account with our collection attorney in April of 2018 in hopes we could get the matter settled. Our attorney attempted to contact Our Future Children several times and finally advised us to file a lawsuit against them for failure to pay for services rendered. The result of the lawsuit was a judgement in our favor on May 31, 2018. The lawsuit can be researched in Dallas County under Cause No. DC-18-04865.

Since the judgement, we have tried all legal means to collect the amounts due, however Our Future Children has appeared to have hidden their assets and we are unable to locate anything collectable. It is our opinion this organization operates a very shady business in which they are able to receive federal funds for after school programs and then diverts the funds and fails to pay their vendors and suppliers.
