Ourisman Ford Alexandria Bait and Switch Alexandria, Virginia

I went to Ourisman Ford to try to lease a 2013 Ford Explorer.  They of course did not have the car that I wanted, but could put me into a model that was a step above what I was originally looking for.  I have since looked on the web and have not been able to find the exact vehicle that I was originally looking for, so I have since given them a pass on their first move.  However, it gets much worse from this point.  After a few hours of inspecting the target vehicle, negotiating a price and a price for my trade in, we reached an agreement.  However, when I finally was able to go back to sign the papers, 4+ hours into the entire experience, the deal changed.  They somehow were not able to make the original deal.  The sales manager Eric said simply, "sorry, I made a mistake and cannot make the deal you were told."  Now, the deal was to be written titling the vehicle in PA, so it was a little more complex, but the sales associate told me he just did a deal with another guy for PA a week earlier.  So I was not sure what was up.  Already upset that this was taking so long, I agreed to slightly different terms on the lease extending the months, but nothing else according to this sales manager Eric.  However, again, due to his "mistake" he had my down payment being $500.00 higher than what was agreed.  At this point I lot it.  I told him he needed to get his s--t together.  He then went into some weird tirade about how he needed to feed his family and that I should leave his store.  What a joke of a salesmen.  He actually started pouting when I called him out on his shady tactics.  On the way out of the showroom, the sales associate, who was also upset he lost a deal, came to me and said that this was not the first time Eric did something like that to one of his customers and he lost a deal.  The sales associate was obviously more upset than me since he lost a commission.  Anyway, do not use this place if at all possible.  The absolute worst car buying experience I ever had.  Thank God I had the sense to walk away.
