Ourstage/Amazing media does very poor business. I won a competition under Soulful mind March of 2014 .still have not been paid. I have won several competitions with this company and not once did they ad here to their guidelines set in the competition. I manage another artist and produced a song for her Brielle Marie and She also was paid late. Every time we talked to Heather who made excuse after excuse and did not come off professional or understanding it is like we are wrong for wanting them to honor their word. It is obvious this company is very poorly ran and I would strongly advise no corporations or companies to get behind this company or to do business.
I pointed out to Heather this has happened several times and she came off like a robot with no emotions, trust me i have been doing business for years and I would absolutely never do business like this. Any business doing business with them has definitely not checked their track record very well. Even the big promotion they ran with the Midwest Soulstar competition. The winner was never rewarded til this day.people spent money and traveled and everything and the company did not honor anything.I was there and went to Detroit.

The time it took you to write a Rebuttal , you could of just paid me afterall its been almost a year!!!!! Heather , this is bad business .You can talk about all of the good things your company does however as I spelled out and you admitted it is presently doing bad business.Your response is the equivalent of a fine dining serving rotten shrimp but then talking about the baked potato and salad was still good. Very poor business and noone wants to hear excuses nor will it prevent anyone from doing business.Look at my Linkedin.I am very well connected.I am sending an email blast to everyone I know , including Corporate exec's to do NO business with your company.If I am not paid by Jan 15 , 2015. None one should put up with this

It's true that we owe Soulful Mind one prize for a 2014 win, and we fully intend to award it, just as we have paid him for the several prizes he's won in the past. We are sorry that he's frustrated by the time it takes to award these wins, but he would have to acknowledge in all honesty that we have indeed awarded him all of his previous prizes, just as we will do with this last outstanding prize.
We are a free website and we charge musicians nothing to enter competitions or to use the other features of our site. Delays can indeed occur in administering all of the prizes, but we always try to communicate clearly with those winners as we progress, just as we did with Soulful Mind on a regular basis, both before and after sending his other prizes to him.
As far as our past competitions/events have been run, we stand by a track record that includes showcasing four different unsigned bands on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' putting dozens of artists on Warped Tour, putting an artist on one of the world's biggest summer tours with Drake, and having bands open stadium shows for artists like Bon Jovi and John Mayer -- again, all at no cost to any of those artists.
We really regret that this experience has been so negative for this artist, despite his several wins and prizes received. We wish him the best and will continue to root for him and to support independent artists everywhere!
