- I hired outdoor dream spaces (Owner John Debrigida of Hereford/East Greenville, PA) in November of 2009 to build a composite deck. I gave him $2500 deposit to "lock-in" the price and another $3000 in December 2009 to purchase the material/start of work. By January 2010, Mr. John Debrigida keep giving me excuses and not returning my emails in a timely matter and not returning my wife's phone call.
- He finally did the footers in May 2010 and told me he is coming back in 5 days to continue the deck. After almost 2 months, Mr. John Debrigida still did not come back to continue the deck even after repeated emails.
- I finally reported him to BBB but he never replied to their letters. I also filled a complaint against him to the PA Attorney General. I filed a civil case against him and his company in July 2010 at Red hill district court, which I later won. There was an $8186.00 judgement against him including damages done to my family, which I know he will not pay voluntarily.
Do not do business with this company and with Mr. John Debrida. Mr. Debrigida will keep telling you things that will never happen. Do not believe everything he says and never allow him to be in control. Also check to see if what he is telling you is true. Better yet do not do business with Mr. John Debrigida at all. Go to BBB and check out his company. He has a grade of F and never replied to any complaints against him and his company. You can also see more complaints about this company at outdoordreamspacesdisaster.com and he has another complain in this website from Willem of Pennsburg PA. I actually spoke with this homeowner and to his wife and found out all the lies he told them, such as breaking his neck to avoid giving them back their $2500 deposit. He has 3 civil cases against him in the passed including mine: Two in Red Hill, PA and 1 in Boyertown, PA for writing checks with No sufficient Fund and from a closed account. He has not won a civil case against him at all. Beware of Mr. John Debrida. Hired someone else to do your project and do not be fooled by his very competetive quotes.
