OwlsBooks Phsing? Toledo Ohio

I looked for a book on Amazon which will be used in a course \i am taking that starts on August 15.  \in the course of the search \i looked at Owlsbooks, but it was being shipped too late and wasnn't the best deal.  \i ordered teh new books through Amazon-three in fact.  All of a sudden I got a shipping confirmation of another book from Owls. I HAD NOT PLACED THE ORDER. I immediately contacted them saying I had not placed the order.  \in response I got an email asking me to explaint the problem so that they could fix it even though my meial clearly stated I had not placed the order.  Quite soon after  and inspite of the email to cancel the order I got an emial saying they had shipped the order.  I then threatend them with a lawsuit and various actions.  \i immediately got an email saying the order was canceled. This is very fishing and \i think phsing and  \i will try to get Amzaon to do  something about it, but customer service there has been frusttrating to say the least.
