Oxford Financial ripoff Master Card with $2000 Limit- Never Came Champlain New York

I was called on my cell phone in June by a so called rep from Oxford financial. They offered me a credit card for $249, with a $2000 limit. The rep that I spoke with assured that the cards go out the next day. After waiting 2 weeks, I called and was told it takes 40 days. After 40 days I called back and was told it was in the shipping department. I called for the next 4 weeks about 3 times a week . I would either get the answering machine or a rep would tell me that there was a back up in the shipping department. I called on sept 27 and got a recordign stating that the number could not be called from my calling area. I got a friend in LA to call and she received the same message, well since I know that she and I are not in the same calling area I finally looked the company up on the BBB.com and find that thousands of people just like myself have been ripped- off.

I contacted my bank and was able to get my money back but most financial institutions wont do it after 60 days. I also checked ftc.gov and saw the legal filings against this company. I wish there was something legally that could be dome but was told since the Company is acutally out of Canada there was nothing that can be done aside from getting your $249 back, which sucks. I have read alot of the reports and other just like myself have gotten in finnacial binds waiting on this card. HOW FAIR IS THAT
